Zealotrous Album Release Show with Bangzz, Snide, Chiroptera
ZEALOTROUS is a political punk band from Durham, NC known for their rageful, high-energy live performances. Their self-titled EP received critical praise: “God damn this is some solid punk rock! It reminds me of the best acts of the 90s – Epitaph, Fat Wreck Chords, and Hellcat Records artists” (Issues Magazine). Their long-awaited debut full-length album “QUID PRO STATUS QUO” arrives December 6th on all platforms. Rip-roaring lead single “ZOMBIE” boasts “frenetic drums, ultra-tight rhythmic shifts, and melodic vocals that convey a contained rage” (Punkeando!). The ambitious follow-up single “THIS IS IT” – featuring an epic introduction by Neil deGrasse Tyson – is a larger-than-life anthem with enough mainstream appeal to catch the attention of new audiences around the globe. QUID PRO STATUS QUO – AVAILABLE EVERYWHERE DECEMBER 6TH!!!!
Curtis Eller’s American Circus Album Release Tour with Crystal Bright
CURTIS ELLER’S AMERICAN CIRCUS The Band: Curtis Eller is a banjo player, songwriter and rock & roll singer. The beloved show business veteran began performing at the age of seven as a juggler and acrobat, but has since turned to the banjo because that’s where the money is. His band, Curtis Eller’s American Circus, has developed a devoted international following based on spellbinding stage performances that combine a dreamlike vision of American history with silent film style, physical comedy, and explosive rock & roll energy. The iconoclastic troubadour has spent twenty-five years relentlessly touring the clubs, theatres and festivals of North America, Europe, and Australia. This January, Eller will embark on a limited run of East Coast club dates, backed by a heavy-hitting, four-piece lineup of The American Circus featuring musicians from both sides of the Atlantic. The New Album:The tour celebrates the release of their new album, “Another Nice Mess.” The recording captures the band in their ragged, retro splendor, as they guide listeners through a sepia-tinged world of tightrope walkers, heavyweight brawlers, Hollywood scream queens, firing squads, fallen soldiers and conscientious objectors. At the heart of the forthcoming set is ‘Another Nice Mess’: A sweet, sentimental waltz about the enduring friendship between Laurel & Hardy. You are invited to run away with the circus when this little big top comes to town! Future Crib with Barefoot Modern
Future Crib began in 2017 with the self release of “Stevie B.” A solo endeavor of Johnny Hopson, it grew to include a a rotating cast of 30 musicians in the greater Nashville area. Their second release, “Beamish,” was recorded during this time. The band eventually settled into a steady lineup of Johnny Hopson, Julia Anderson, Bryce DuBray, and Noah Pope, recording “Friends” and touring between work and classes during 2018 and 2019. This period also saw the addition of George Rezek after joining the band for a 2019 tour. During the pandemic, the band pieced together demos and re-worked recordings to create “Silverdays,” a 12 minute run-time with an accompanying visual art book directed by friend and tour manager Daniel Shipp. The band also made time in 2020 to record “Full Time Smile,” a collection of songs that had been set aside to record all at once, and the only Future Crib release to feature all five members recording live takes. 2021 and 2022 saw the release of “Full Time Smile” and the heaviest touring thus-far. In 2022, Pope amicably separated from the band to focus on solo endeavors. The remaining four members continue to record and tour in 2023.
