Blending elements of 2000’s pop punk and emo rock with modern day pop rock-they bridge the gap between nostalgia and something new.   ColorMeKrazy! The brainchild of a bedroom-pop artist & an ex-scene kid, ColorMeKrazy! is a collective of musicians/maniacs hailing from Raleigh, North Carolina. In 2023, the band was formed with the intention to meld the saccharine aesthetic & sensibilities of modern hyperpop artists (Brakence, 100 Gecs, Charlie XCX) with the powerful, dark, scream-crying-in-the-rain-angst of yesteryear’s emo titans (My Chemical Romance, Senses Fail, Taking Back Sunday) into it’s own unique flavor of electronic pop-punk music.

The Whiskey Smugglers (2007-2010) were a Carrboro, NC–based large-ensemble Americana project rooted in bluegrass, folk, and alt-country traditions. Known for their rich harmonies, rolling acoustic textures, and sharply observed songwriting, the band built a devoted following throughout the Triangle with songs that balanced humor, heartache, and poetic grit. Their sound is warm, communal, and deeply grounded in Southern storytelling. This New Year’s Eve reunion brings The Whiskey Smugglers back together for a rare, one-night celebration of the music, the friendships, and the scene that shaped them. They’ll be joined by both old and new friends, including magician Michael Casey and the All Y’all Country All-Stars to help ring in the New Year in true communal style.
