Jaguar Sun

Website

Jaguar Sun is the solo project of Canadian multi instrumentalist Chris Minielly. Brought to life in the small Southern Ontario town of Elmira, Chris took inspirations such as Big Thief, Goth Babe, Beach Fossils, Frightened Rabbit and Youth Lagoon and dove into producing music of his own. Now residing in Toronto Chris continues to record and produce from his DIY home studio treading his own line between Dream Pop, Rock, and Folk

Wilby

Facebook / Instagram / Spotify / Tiktok

Wilby’s Center of Affection began as a creative practice, a result of morning pages that unfurled like stream of consciousness diary entries. During previous efforts, when the artist born Maria Crawford would write to prompts, enter the nebulous “album mode,” or search for a theme to spur her creative practice, everything felt forced. It was only in letting go, in a decision to let her strongest ideals bubble from the roots of her subconscious to the top of her mind, that she was able to write her bravest, most beautiful, and strongest effort to date.

Bee Million

Instagram / Bandcamp

Durham, NC songwriter Ben Newgard formed Bee Million with his brother, drummer Anders Newgard, and best friend and lead guitar player David Smith, before adding bass extraordinaire Lucas Tax to round out the roster. With sonic influences spanning the likes of everything from Angel Olsen to the Rolling Stones to Guided by Voices (after whom they’re named), Bee Million weaves together a rough-and-ragged yet melodic and infectious strand of garage pop that will linger with you long after the music’s ended.
